Brief description of your business

 150 square foot store full of vintage jewellery necklaces, brooches, bracelets, earrings, day and evening bags, silk scarves, some designer belts, gloves, small selection of shoes and clothing. I also carry men's accessories, cuff links, and designer silk ties and a small selection of collectible glass and china.

When did you open in Mount Pleasant Village?

 1983

Why did you pick Mount Pleasant Village?

 I had worked in the area for a long time and loved the people.

What is the most meaningful comment you've received since you've opened?

 Someone once told me that I was the only person they knew who loved to work because I loved what I did.

What specialty sets your business apart from competitors?

 Wonder things at affordable prices and in excellent condition.

What were you doing before you opened your business?

 Assistant manager of a second hand store (Ex Toggery)

What has changed about your business since you first opened?

 When I first opened I had more collectible items now it is more jewellery and fashion related.

What do you enjoy most about your business?

 I love to buy something old and beautiful and than sell it to someone who appreciates and loves the design and quality of the piece.

Any exciting news or events happening in the next 6 months in your business?

 I participate in a great vintage clothing and textile show at Wychwood Barns Sunday October 26th and September 1st at Centrepoint Mall as well as Thanksgiving Monday October 13th.

What's a fun fact about your business?

 What is fun is learning from your customers how to put together a look!
