Learn More About Support-in-Place (SIP) – Toronto Hydro
  • SIP is an alternative method to relocating utility infrastructure, whereby hydro infrastructure is temporarily supported using concrete encasement and steel beams.
  • Advantage of SIP is reduced impact to road users and pedestrians as well as less power interruptions for properties in the vicinity of the future station.
  • The SIP method will be used at Mount Pleasant during the shallow excavation periods.

Experience Eglinton Campaign Re-launch

Eglinton is one of the most diverse streets in Toronto. Intersecting over a dozen neighbourhoods, its hundreds of local shops and big-name retailers sell nearly every good and service imaginable. As you travel Eglinton Avenue, the streetscape changes to match the character of each vibrant neighbourhood.
To support the local business community the Experience Eglinton campaign is being relaunched across the corridor, from Weston to Kennedy just in time for the holidays.

The Crosstown Photo Booth: Mount Pleasant Station

The Crosstown Photo Booth is travelling across the different business districts of Eglinton this winter.

On Saturday, December 2, 2017, the Crosstown Photo Booth will be coming to the Christmas Fair organized by Mount Pleasant Village BIA.

Get your photo taken in front of the future Mount Pleasant Station and support your local business community. We will be there between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to answer questions about the future LRT line and Crosstown construction.

Stay tuned to our Upcoming Events page for more information or follow us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.

Thank you for your patience as we work to build this important project.
