Eglinton Crosstown Marketing Meetings for Local Businesses

The following is a message from the Crosstown Community Relations Team:

Dear Eglinton business owners,

As you may know, Metrolinx is building the Eglinton Crosstown, Toronto’s new 19-kilometre light rail transit (LRT) line that will run along Eglinton Avenue with a central 10 km underground section. Metrolinx continues to expand and develop new ways and opportunities to support local businesses during construction of the Eglinton Crosstown. One of the new ways we are offering this support is to start holding monthly marketing meetings for local businesses. These meetings will provide you an opportunity to hear and give feedback on proposed and current marketing initiatives for Eglinton Avenue. This venue will also allow us to hear new ideas directly from business owners on how Metrolinx can further support and encourage local shopping on Eglinton Avenue.

The first monthly marketing meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the East Community Office, 660 Eglinton Avenue East in the Sunnybrook Plaza. If you own and/or run a business on Eglinton and would like to attend our next marketing meeting please RSVP by Friday, October 21, 2016 to Heather Glicksman in the Crosstown Community Office at (416) 482-7411 or at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

If you would like to keep informed about upcoming construction and receive email updates, you can sign up at www.thecrosstown.ca/sign-up.

We thank you for your continued patience as we work to build rapid transit.

Sincerely,
Heather Glicksman
Crosstown Community Relations Team
