*Please note - this plan is not to be confused with the BIA's own Streetscape Masterplan for Mount Pleasant Road.*
As part of the Midtown in Focus study, the City of Toronto is developing an area-wide vision for parks and public spaces in the Yonge-Davisville area. We need your input. Please join us at a public workshop on Saturday, November 19th at Greenwood College School.
The event will include an overview presentation, walking tours and group activities focused on opportunities for a safer, better connected, more inviting and beautiful public realm.
The event will kick off with an overview presentation of the City’s objectives for the study, the area history and its present-day planning context. Participants will then divide into small groups. Each group will participate in an hour-long walk of part of the community, discussing and documenting existing conditions, opportunities and challenges. Back at Greenwood College School, each group will present their observations. The ideas generated will be documented by the City and used to inform the Midtown in Focus study underway in the area.
The study area includes the lands bounded by Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Oriole Park, Davisville Junior Public School and Hodgson Senior Public School. To learn more about the Midtown in Focus study, please visitwww.toronto.ca/planning/yongeeglinton.
