Opened in the spring of 2017 Birch is the first venture by restaurateur and sommelier Laurie Hillesheim. The 70 set dining room, a former bank, is comfortable, elegant with a timeless design. The room features a 1901 Heintzman piano, floor to ceiling windows and 12-foot raw-edge chef’s table. Oliver Kjeldsen heads up the kitchen creating classic French dishes featuring the finest products available. Adjacent to Birch Bistro is a retail shop featuring delicious grab and go items such as Delicious coffee, croque monsier, crustless quiche, croissant, pain au chocolate, Pluck tea, house-made Valrhona chocolate cookie, Montreal bagels, financiers and more! We also offer desserts by pastry chef Calvin Wat.

Birch Bistro is the perfect venue for an intimate wedding, special birthday celebration or corporate event. The spacious room can accommodate 70 guests for a seated meal and up to 120 people for a passed canapés reception. Our beautiful covered patio seats 40 guests and can accommodate larger groups for a standing reception.
Chef Oliver Kjeldsen will create a custom menu and our experienced event planner will ensure
that no detail is missed. Custom cakes can be arranged by our talented pastry chef Calvin Wat.
