Join us in bringing the community together for a fun, family-friendly Movie Night this August! Sponsoring this popular event is a great way to showcase your business and connect with local residents. We’re celebrating the 14th year of our community’s favourite outdoor street festival! With live entertainment, delicious food, and family-friendly fun, sponsorship is the perfect opportunity to show your community spirit.

Kids’ Halloween Costume Parade – Saturday, October 18 or 25, 2025. 
Here’s a BOO-tiful opportunity to spotlight your business: Become the exclusive sponsor of this new, family-oriented event! Residents will be invited to bring the kids and pets in costume and join us for what is sure to be, the cutest event of the year. Prizes for best costumes and treats for everyone!

We’ll kick-off the Holiday season with our Tree Lighting event: a sparkling opportunity to showcase your businesses and connect with residents. It will be an evening of festive music, family-friendly performances, Holiday treats and even a visit from Santa! There will be an opportunity for Sponsor’s remarks during the presentation.

Chanukah Menorah – June Rowlands Park – Dec. 14 to 22
Menorah Lighting Event – Date TBD

Our giant 2-meter illuminated menorah will again shine bright on each night of Chanukah – The Jewish Festival of Lights. As a sponsor, your name will appear next to our our menorah for all 8 days of Chanukah. 

On one night of Chanukah we’ll be inviting the community to join us for a spectacular, blazing Menorah lighting ceremony. We’ll have music, hot cider and traditional jelly doughnuts. There will be an opportunity for Sponsor’s remarks during the presentation.

Sponsors will be highlighted on all promotional materials, website and social media. Chanukah Menorah and celebrations are presented in collaboration with Chabad Lubavitch on the East Side.

Pleasant Present Contest – 5 to 6 weeks in November and December.

Local shoppers are invited to scan and upload any recent BIA member receipt for a chance to win a $100 Mount Pleasant Village Gift Card. There will be 4 draws over the Holiday season. Sponsor logo will be featured on all promotional materials (In-store posters, Street signs, TTC shelter, website, social media, etc.) and will be visible for the entire duration of the contest (Approximately 6 weeks).
