Father’s Day is coming up soon, and we want to help you make this day memorable for your loved ones. Whether you are celebrating your father, grandfather, or a parental figure, Mount Pleasant has all you need for the perfect Father’s Day.

Decorations!

Mount Pleasant Village is fortunate to have TWO of our very own party stores. No longer is there a need to travel far away to get generic balloons and decorations from a chain store when you can shop local.

With an unparalleled selection of balloons and other party decors, Unbox Your Party has carefully curated a selection of party supplies for your celebration. One highlight of their store is their reusable vinyl balloons! Pick up some in your father’s favourite colour.

Let’s Fête! Party Co is a fantastic pop-up party shop in the area. Sourcing their products from all over the world, they have a diverse selection of supplies without customs and duties! With a focus on the environment, most of the products available at Let’s Fête! Party Co are eco-friendly!

The Perfect Card

A must for Father’s day is a card, and Collected Joy has a variety of cute, funny, and sentimental cards for the holiday! They have many different card styles for all the fathers in your life!

They also offer a line of skincare products for men, leather wallets, and a favourite of everyone’s socks! To make it even better, most of their products are small-batch Canadian designs.

Brunch Time

Nothing says Fathers’ Day more than brunch, and Mount Pleasant has a few great spots if you’re looking to go out this year.

Starving Artist is a trendy brunch spot close to Davisville. Offering a variety of coffee choices and brunch cocktails, everything at this delicious spot is served with waffles. Try any of their waffle eggs benedict menu items for a mouthwatering twist on a classic brunch meal.

Gift Ideas

If you are looking for a gift, Jacaranda Tree & Co has many options to choose from! Check them out for everything from home decor to unique puzzle sets and furniture. They also have a selection of curated vintage pieces.

Or if you want to gift an activity for fathers day this year, The Chef Upstairs is a great place to look into. Whether your dad is a pro in the kitchen or not, why not sign him up for a virtual or in-person adult cooking class. Not sure which option to choose? Virtual classes at The Chef upstairs can be done with the whole family!

End Your Night Right!

To finish off your night, stop by Granite Brewery, one of Ontario’s oldest breweries. Here you can pick up some beers brewed on-site or sit down and enjoy a meal. Try one of their new summer beers and a delicious Mediterranean lamb burger. If lamb is not your style, they also have a burger made with stout BBQ sauce.

For one final sweet treat, grab a pie from Flaky Tart! Made with the finest fruits and flaky pastry, you really can’t go wrong.
